Intellectual Or Spiritual Growth
This issue explains why physical stillness is essential for spiritual/intellectual growth.
Hello, I’m Prashik and welcome to a “Prashik’s Newsletter. Each week I write something interesting about life, books, podcast, my learnings etc
Intellectual Or Spiritual Growth 💡
Any kind of intellectual/spiritual growth is only possible when we remain in a normal physical state!
That means our body should be in complete rest.
This won't happen with many people due to working day and night for 6 days a week, which they hardly care about.
It creates conflict in mind; many of us are doing something just because we need to earn a living without any creative possibilities!
The problem with this lifestyle is, it creates inner conflict, and hence there will be enormous wastage of energy!
With this, one just gets exhausted by the end of the weekend!
And again ;
What most of us do with that weekend?
We try to escape from the misery by various means! Like, drinking, partying or going to beaches, etc.
Which again demands a lot of physical energy!
That's the reason we never able to achieve physical stability and physical stillness!
It is only when we physically relax our brain will experience security!
And only at this point, we can ever possibly imagine any intellectual/creative/spiritual growth.
At this point, we may experience physical sensitivity that is again called "bodily sensitivity”!
Believe me; there is something called "bodily" sensitivity where your body dictates many things in life.
If by any chance you experience this, then there is a possibility to start an upward journey.
Otherwise, one remains in the same state! Forever, Without any intellectual/creative/spiritual growth.
So, don't fall into the trap of planning every weekend to make mischief, which again exhausts your physical energy!
Instead, just take a rest! And do something which appeals to your creative self.
